For the Steendam project, we laid fibre optic cables in cooperation with the Steendam housing corporation. After the backbone from Siddeburen to Steendam had been laid, the pipes for the home connections were dug by the homeowners themselves. EBC then injected the fibre-optic cables and welded/measured the home connections and delivered the network to KPN-Telecom. After the completion of this project, another connection was added at a later stage, during which we filmed the process. EBC is able to carry out this type of work because we have all the competences in-house.
